My name is Ranjani, and I'm 19. I'm a Classics/Linguistics sophomore at The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to writing, music, art, and design, I love The Beatles, David Bowie, Radiohead, Monty Python, Eddie Izzard — fine, a lot of British things.

• My favorite meal of the day is breakfast.
• A lot of my best ideas have come up while I was brushing my teeth. That fluoride is powerful stuff.
• I am mired in the middle of writing a novel, which I mention on this site quite a few times. I am currently 40% through. It does not contain any goldfish (I am sorry to disappoint).

I use Movable Type 4.1 to publish this site, as well as XHTML 1.1 and CSS 3. I make my code as semantic as I can get it, and I'm always on the lookout for new techniques and tricks. This site is a work in progress. I change things around in little ways all the time.
