Music of the heart

I was going to draw something pretty yesterday, but half-way through, when the picture started switching genders on me, I kinda lost heart. We'll try that again sometime!

Yesterday, I was realizing how much of my life revolves around music. When I'm on the computer, my playlist is blaring with The Beatles, U2, pop songs, and showtunes. Often I'm singing along and pissing off the majority of my house while doing it. Music helps me concentrate on one thing at a time and block out everything else (my mom, my dad's need to turn the TV volume up too loud, and my college-age brother making airplane noises at the dog). I've realized how incredibly bored I can be if I don't have my CD player in the card with the same songs on my computer, and similarly, I'm not ashamed to admit that even a short shower without a song is damn boring.

So what's up with that? It's not like I ever want a career in music, but it takes up so much of my life. If World of Warcraft is down (like friggin' always), I go to the piano first...okay, I go to the dog first, but she's on the way to the piano. Yet I frown at people who want to be music majors when it's the only thing in my life that's extremely constant.

My e-ADD is spazzing yet again. Bill Gates is stepping down from being CEO of Microsoft in two years. When that happens, I will be cheering beyond belief. Maybe Microsoft will be more worthwhile now!

And maybe he'll hand out his friggin' money!

Music is awesome! In fact I’m streaming the radio while at work. it makes the time fly by :)

I think Bill Gates is handing out money actually :D He’s the head of a charity already and he’ll continue doing charity work and make it his priority once he stands down. As far as I’m aware anyhow :)
