My tummy felt like it had fallen into a pit of 10-foot long thorns and carnivorous plants (get the vegetarian joke? OF COURSE YOU DO) from English to right after I got home, and I'm upset for a few reasons. One, I had acid-reflux when I was little and I still believe I'm cured as far as that goes; two, I had better not be lactose-intolerant, because then I would just die. It practically flows through my veins, and just to prove it has the upper hand, it likes to bend me into submission sometimes; three, you just can't really do anything about stomach problems in school except crunch up and go home. As a result, I was a bum in Band, APUSH (We were watching 1776, so that was alright), LUNCH of all ungodly things, and Chemistry. It had eased up a bit by Algebra. I guess the short-term solution is to chug some Tums wherever I go, but I'd rather not feel this crappy again. If I do, dear god, I will find every cow on this planet and put them in SpaceBags until they surrender.

I practice a slow and deep breathing method that seems to take my pain away… though I guess that would only work in certain cases.

I’m sorry. Well, I hope you are not lactose intolerant and that you hopefully figure out a good way of coping with your stomach pains. When I get bad pains, depending on where they are and where I’m at, I’ll usually rub my stomach/do some stretching and it sometimes helps a bit.. Or it at least helps me take my mind off the pain. But most of the time I just have to let it work itself off.. Which obviously won’t do much good when you’re out and about. I’ll also try and eat something even if I feel like it’ll just make me sick. Maybe you could bring a cereal bar or something like that in and eat that if you’re feeling sick? Stomach pains really do suck. If it is something more serious I really hope you figure out the cause soon. Best of luck to you!

Well, it varied between heartburn - which I’m used to from A/R - and some sort of burning in my upper stomach, the sort I’d probably associate with indigestion, except I didn’t eat anything bad.
Second opinion - maybe it was stress? Thanks for your ideas - my bag is already well stocked with goodies if it really is hunger :)

Stomach pains are the absolute worst. I hope you start feeling better. Especially in school it sucks the most because then all I used to think about was going home.
