Note: Her hair will be unpoofed! I felt as if I could draw something about two months ago, and I finally got back to working on it. It was, at one point, Murron holding her baby (no big spoiler, people have babies all the time), and I wanted to add a little plot hint (aside from that), but it ended up being just Murron. I'm getting better at drawing people, I swear! The one thing I'm proud of in this is the skintones. I need a lot of work, I understand that, but it might end up being one of my best art pieces. She doesn't look too different from the Murron I drew before, but I wanted to refine her. Stylistically, this version is a good deal softer than the other version. Murron on a whole has transformed a lot in my drawings, but not so much in character.
And I'm being good! I set a milestone for finishing Chapters 1 and 2 of the story¹ (for the third or fourth time) to next week. If I'm in a mood to do so (why do I feel like I'm living through Virginia Woolf's life in The Hours?). If not, I'm going to catch up on homework. There's a silver lining to everything...
Footnotes
- Yes, I'm writing a novel — I'd be almost done with it if I could rewrite these chapters faster. It's called Ventura for now. It's a realistic fantasy novel — it's set somewhere else, but it's about human nature and religion and the power of humanity, and a lot of philosophical things I like to think about embodied in my characters. Yay! «

It’s decent. I would definitely edit the ends of the hair, and fix the eyebrows though.
Don’t know what your talking about in the story though.

That’s a darn good drawing. I can’t draw people to save my life, and I can only draw other things once in a while. I managed to draw Taz from Looney Tunes once, but that’s about it. :)
Good luck working on the novel. And if all else fails, well, at least your homework will be caught up on. LOL

About the hair - yes, I didn’t quite work on it. The progress was for the face only, because I find that more important than the hair. It served only for the hue.
Eyebrows - I don’t find anything wrong with them quite yet, but I’ll definitely look over them when adding finishing touches.
I’m writing a story - which I refer to as “THE story” (I’ll add a footnote on that) - or, actually, it’s a novel. And she happens to be one of the major characters - I refrain from saying “main character” because I can’t just write one and get away with it.
And as for the homework, I delayed my novel even more just to finish up. At least my grades are showing the difference or lack thereof.
